Dr. Fabian Heilemann is a serial-entrepreneur, VC-investor and climate
activist based in Berlin.
Fabian has 20 years of entrepreneurial experience and earned his merit
as co-founder of 5 companies, including the B2C couponing-platform
DailyDeal which was sold to Google Inc. in 2011 for more than $ 100
mn. and forto, which emerged into Europe’s leading digital freightforwarding company for global logistics with a team of 300 people,
targeting $ 100 mn. in revenues for 2020.
Since 2011, Fabian has focused on early-stage VC-investments. His
track record includes more than 45 early-stage investments with an
emphasis on Marketplaces & Platforms, Consumer, Legal-Tec and
Logistics/Mobility. He is a Partner at Earlybird, one of the leading
European VC-firms with $ 1,5 bn. Assets under management and
currently more than 60 active companies in the portfolio, including
category-leading “unicorns” such as N26, Smava, Peak and UiPath.
As a Founder’s Pledge Ambassador and a co-founder of Leaders for
Climate Action, he actively contributes to solving the climate crisis by
leveraging his network and assets as an entrepreneur and investor.
